About Feral Cats Advocacy

Our Mission
Advocating for the health and well-being of community cats and kittens in Jackson County and the surrounding area and supporting the community members that care for them through spay and neuter programs, foster, adoption and education.

What We Do
At Feral Cats Advocacy, we are committed to making a difference in the lives of community cats and kittens in Jackson County.

Our primary focus is to trap-neuter-return (TNR) unowned, community cats. We work tirelessly to trap feral cats, spay or neuter them, vaccinate them, and return them back to their colonies. This approach is the most effective and humane way to control feral cat populations and prevent future generations from being born into difficult outdoor conditions. By reducing the number of feral cats, we help to alleviate the strain on local resources and improve the quality of life for both cats and humans in the community.

We also socialize and rehabilitate kittens from feral colonies. Our dedicated volunteers provide foster care and socialization to ensure these kittens have a chance at a happy, healthy life in a loving home. Through our foster and adoption programs, we help to find loving homes for cats and kittens in need, and provide ongoing support to their new families to ensure a successful transition.

At Feral Cats Advocacy, we believe that education is a critical component to achieving our mission. That's why we provide resources and information to community members to promote responsible pet ownership and advocate for the health and well-being of all cats.

We are grateful for the support of our dedicated volunteers and donors who make our work possible. Together, we can make a positive impact on the lives of community cats and kittens in Jackson County.
